Just getting something off my chest.
The North Carolina Division of Non-Public Education estimates that 71,566 students were homeschooled in the state in the 2007-08 school year (and it's constantly growing). So if this new event (the judge making the mom send her above-grade-level kids back to public school after homeschooling since 2005) happened to everyone homeschooling in NC, it would really help the overcrowding, understaffing, crap budget, and lack of quality teachers, wouldn't it??

Why is the judge doing this? I'll need to read up on this case some more......but yeah, it wouldn't help overcrowding!
It a huge stinky poo in the homeschooling and religious community, not just here but around the country. You can find info here http://www.hsinjustice.com/ and here http://www.newsobserver.com/news/education/story/1440674.html and lots of other places!!
